Yo All,
i work with two systems and i was wondering are AE plug-ins platform independent so that the same file works in both systems.

Nope, of course not or why do you think everybody produces platform specific versions? different processors require different binary code. It's as simple as that.

That sucks. My company is switching me to Mac (for Final Cut Pro HD) and was planning on purchasing AE for Mac. Now I have to try to track down all of those plugins again! I should have just downloaded the Mac versions when I was gathering them originally and burned them to disc. If anyone knows any one-stop sites for plugins (free or cheap preferably) let me know.
