Hi friends
I had a problem with hardware. My system config
Mother board:VIA Chip set
Processor: Intel 2.4 GHZ
Ram : 1 GB
AGP Card: 256 mb ddr support( model radeon 9550 latest)
HArd disk: 40 GB
Though i have this configuration When i render some what detailed file in 3dsmax its not performoing as it should be.
Earlier i have a system with only 512 MB Ram without any additional AGP card, mother board of intel original 945 guv latest and processor 2.8GHZ, even that machine renders faster than this.

What could be the problem? Is the Mother board is not good enough?(my AGP will support upto 8x speed but the Mother board supports only 4x is that aslo a problem?)

How to speed up my rendering can any body solve my problem?

render time depend on complexity of your model if it high then it take longer..
the most job is done by cpu it calculate the stuff so a faster cpu can help

but even you have the lastest pc the render time will allways take long time
i saw a car with snow they guy said it toke 12 hour to make that render

my render time for my trucks toke the largest 30 - 60 min
and about your work what did you render ? and how long time it toke?
