Boy oh boy be patient adam you have to give a guy some time to really wake up get organised and remeber which he was going to post and what day ;) Its hard to think which ones are more important and useful, which ones are cooler and such too. I mean a prime example is the new AM locks HOWTO that I posted, there are brief mentions of other cool little tricks that I will post but which one comes first?

Just kiddn. I appreciate whatever you can supply. A little frustrating watching everyone else explore while my disks are bumping along in the back of a UPS truck, probably somewhere in the Nevada desert about now.

Man I have never felt so sorry for someone waiting for software to ship than you, How many posts int the various threads have you mentioned this now??? lol I can just imagne you stiing at home on the computer reading all the posts about R* and all these people with the early birds just thinknig how much you hate them right now ;)

well read and memorise as much stuff as possible so when you get your early bird a few days before the final release you'll khave enough time to apply your new knowledge and know it all by the time your release show up (if by UPs ground you'll have to wait a year or two I guess eh?)

Tell me about it. *I* just tracked his package. It's on some truck that left Vernon, CA for Florida.

I know Adam said Nevada, but my guess is Arizona - hopefully they took I-10.

Thanks for the sympathy. :) Anyways, after reading about all the cool new stuff in R8--and all the new GUI windows--I bit the bullet and ordered a new vid card (GF4 Ti-4600) and a 15" LCD to use as a second display. So all the goodies should be arriving about the same time--kinda like X-mas in October!

And because I know y'all care ... still no word since Vernon.

Hey for all the help and sympathy, could you buy me a 15 inch LCD to use as a second display? Right now my second display is a 13 inch TV.
