Lightwave 8:Getting started with Displacements and Endomorphs:
http://www.3dtrainingonline.com/displacements.htm

The purpose of the CD is to show every place displacements can be used in Lightwave. Most people typically think of using
displacements in layout, however displacement techniques can be used in modeler to sculpt and create there as well. Many also
do not know that Endormorphs in layout can be driven using texture maps.
In Modeler:
1. Deforming geometry using texture maps
2. Deforming geometry using the airbrush tool
3. Deforming geometry using weight maps.

In Layout:
1. Deforming Geometry using Displacement maps
2. Deforming Geometry using Bump Displacement
3. Deforming Geometry using Normal Displacment
4. Driving Endomorphs using Texture maps

Click on the links below to see some samples of the techniques covered:

I am waiting on mine now!

nice link....I'll keep these in mind once I get the hang of modelling like a pro...

rotfl...that reply is what I call "brutally subtle" :D

Seems like an interesting video. I think itīs a nice trend that more and more video tuts are coming around...as long as the quality is there.
