hes kind of upright and fast for a sad walk cycle, drop his shoulders and concave his spine, drag his feet and slow him down

also, theres a timing issue that happens with cycles, if an element of the character that has been offset from the main elements has a slow in slow out, it affects that elements cycle in the wrong way: it slow down in mid-cycle instead of on its direction change, you have to take your ease in/outs with the offeset and match the angles of your handles to each other at the begginning and end of your cycle.

great work for just starting, HAVE FUN!

Gday mate,

Yeah I have to agree... for a sad guy he sure does seem to have a spring in his stride! For a first attempt your timing isnt bad, plus he has a good sense of balance when he walks.... it just seems like a "neutral" walk cycle rather than a sad walk cycle. Really experiment with the character... put urself in his shoes and act it out, what would you do if you were upset? :D try animating it

Experiment, test and challenge yourself

Good luck :buttrock:
