View Full Version : Animation: "Rift"
Hi, this is an animation I recently finished. It is probably a result of watching Tron too many times. 12 megs quicktime with sound:

I kind of liked that, it brings back fond memories of some of the older CG animations I was shown as a student in art school.
What was your motivation for the project? Where did this idea come from?

It’s to psycho that I can’t even think of how to crit!?
GJ? Lol
Very experimental, I won’t even ask what it means... because I'm sure ur tired of hearing it... I'll interpret for my self

It reminds me of an episode of EVERYONE LOVES RAYMOND, when Raymond's mother took up sculpture and gave Raymond her first piece of work as a gift to display in his home.
It looked too much like a certain part of a women's anatomy, so Raymond couldn't stand to have it in his home. I have a dillema now: Am I the one with the dirty mind, or are you?

Loved it! Creepy. Great juxtaposition between the grid and those organic, screaming things.
Thank you everyone for your comments!

Hmm, well, I've been doing work lately on early 80's computer graphics. I got this specific idea while watching a documentary about Bob Dylan. I...don't know why. As for what it means, there's no tricky secret/smart hidden meaning that I want everyone to get. Whatever works for you. *does Subjectivity gang sign with hands*
