i think a training at discreet is the only way. elsewhere there just arenīt enough workstations to work on your own. at discreet you can sit there for a whole week and goof around with those buttons. elsewhere you just get told what to do which you will forget very very fast.

Hey,

I agree, with fred, go to discreet for Inferno and Flame, but as far as Combustion is concerned i would look into the training DVD from Technical Animation , look on www.trinity 3d .com, or i know someone who wants to sell his set for cheaper, they are fantastic.

No, i'm not spamming. I bought a set myself and felt dumb at how little i actually new about Combustion.

Later.

Dunno if a demo exist exist, but you have a great set of tutorials with the prod version, which are very usefull to learn the soft. You can also find some on discreet.com. When you have done all those, I seriously think you know C* as well to begin production !

Here at Pratt Manhattan they teach combustion courses once in a while. It's not around DC, but still. They have one-day seminars sometimes.
