View Full Version : New Episode of my own animated comic is out
Hi everyone.
It's been over 7 months of "on and off" doing my online comic thing. And I just finished the latest episode yesterday and uploaded it on my server last night.
I am still "new" on animation so that my thing really can't compare to the amazing works you guys did (Really, I truly admire ALL people's work here). Keep in mind that the whole thing (except the voice of the girl) is all done by myself so it's kind of hard for me to keep up.
Anyway, the direct link to the new episode is

Just in case if you are interested on the other older episodes, follow the link in my signature and you will be directed to my site.
Have a great day

Although the animation quality isn't too great, the cinematography is very strong. Your ability to portray mood through visuals is obviously well developed. Which is not to say there isn't room for improvement. Because there always is. :-P

Totally agree. Nothing is perfect. There was a time I thought about forcing myself to be okay on everything. But later found out it's kind of stupid. I think I should "concentrate" on the mood related thing. Animation is just not my thing.

The thing that bothered me the most about the animation, was the holds. Everything goes very static and still. If you keep a bit of motion through the holds it will greatly improve it. The models on the other hand are very nice, as is the lighting and set.

I agree with the others on the animation, but there's also something about the story which is just... well, I don't understand it at all. There is this woman, and a guy, and some bad people, and the woman manage to kill alot of the bad people with the sword, then someone(don't know who) throws a gas-bomb or anything, and they die? or faint?.... just don't perfectly get it lol... I feel very little involved with the story. But you get the mood of the story quite well looking, but I think you would do so much better if you focused on us getting to know the people a little, so we care more about them. That would maybe create some more emotions when something happens to them, backed up by some music. That was my constructive comments! One never stops to learn. ;)

Very nice job with this pnc. I can see a lot of work went into this. I thought the story was very interesting, and to the point where I'm going to go back to your website and watch the previous episodes to see what's going on. ;)
The animation does need some work though, as previously mentioned. Take your time, and add more frames to the walk cycles of the characters. When they 'bad guys' run, feel free to even over-exaggerate the run a little bit to show off the animation.
Then again...

I have to give you a lot of credit for doing so so much.
Keep up the good work, I'll be looking forward to new episodes.
