My old 20" CRT (1280x1024) monitor is giving up and I have two alternatives: a single LCD 19" or 20" (1600x1200) or two 19" (1280x1024). The price is about the same. Will both of these combinations work equally well with xsi? Has anyone taken the larger single monitor approach?
Thanks

- I would go with two 19" over one 20" anyday.

One large monitor can be great, especially if you need to edit HD footage/comps, but the monitors you are looking at aren't big enough for that.

Dual monitors gives you alot more bang for the buck, as long as the "seam" between the two monitors is something you can live with.

I am quite partial to my 24" 16x10 widescreen @ 1920x1200.

Get two of these! hehe! :)

For 3D I don't like using below 1600x1200 though. I like screen real estate!

I have a 15" wide at 1920 res (tiny icons, but loads of room!) on my laptop and a 1600 for my desktop. I'd like to get a 2nd for that! money money money though! :)

Saw a sweeet 30" widescreen LCD on display not so long ago. Ah well, one day when I own Pixar mayby :applause:
