It shouldn't.. but since it does.. why don't you just render all the objects with motion blur on?

HEY GOOSH FINALLY SOMEONE CAME TO HELP THANX A LOT! YEA I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON IT JUST HAPPENS WHEN MANY OBJECTS IN THE SCENE BASICALLY MOST OF THEM HAVE MOTION BLUR DISABLED CAUSE IF I ENABLE JUST A FEW IT WILL RENDER, HEY I WAS THINKING ABOUT BLURING EVERYTHING, IS THAT SOMETHING CORRECT TO DO? LIKE IF THE CAMERA IS PANNING AROUND THE ROOM EVERYTHING SHOULD BLUR A LITTLE BIT?
OTHER QUESTION, IS THERE A WAY TO TOGGLE MOTION BLUR ON OR OFF ON THE SELECTED OBJECTS? SO THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO GO ONE BY ONE CHECKING THE BOX IN THE RENDER STATS??
thanx for your help again.

you can go to the component editor and turn all the motion blur off or on right there... (for all the selected objects) it's a lot faster
As far as motion bluring all the objects in the scene.. yeah.. I would suggest it.. if not it might look weird.. but again.. it might depend on what you are trying to do and how..
Motion blur 3D is better for this, but it'll take for ever to render..
in 2D I just leave the original settings.. it seemed to work fine for me...
Good luck

PS: There is a reason why most of this things are done in post.. you have so much more control.. you shouldn't try to render all the scene in one go.. you should work on passes... but it might be too late for that right now...

P.S - by the way i really like your 3d work like that dracula short film!

The faster way to get a motion blur is in the hardware renderbuffer.
turn on the multi pass and adjust as you like.
It might be a layer usefull for compositing. I know you don't want to talk about it. Make your choice
A) how many time you have to spend in debugging
B) Can you fake with a work-around
It's up to you...
Keep on!
