CGTalk - need help on photoshop

View Full Version : need help on photoshop - max eror

hi, i've got a problem with photoshop & max for a while now,
i work on a .psd file and export it to .tga to preview it on max, and i go back and forth between these programs, while i texture a model.

sometimes when i try to export (save a copy..) the psd to tga, photoshop give me an error msg ".. because the file is already in use or was left open".
and i'm forced to restart max
i wonder if you guys had these problem and came up with some way to overcome this.

I am not sure of a way around it as it is the OS function check internally from Photoshop. Your method of work seems to be the main problem. It is better for you to post this in the Photoshop or Max forum for better reply and on other techniques the artists use.
