It's going to be a sort of territorial, urban kind of mod. There are no formal teams, but instead players have to chose to work together at the beginning of a round. "Teams" will have to gain control of city blocks, buy and sell all kinds of goods to raise money for weapons, and take over the city. Players actaully working together might sound like wishful thinking, but it's really the only way to win the game.
Right now the team is small, but I've been blasting out models daily, 75 percent of the stuff on the site (in my sig) is from last week. If anybody is experienced with putting characters and vehicles into the game, please get in touch.
Don't be decieved by the forums on the site, this mod is not dead, it was actually just born a week ago.

That pretty decent man, the level of detail in the new mods coming out lately is far beyond anything that was acheivable with HL1... damn half the mods ive seen coming out soon, look better than the main game...

Thanks man.
It is my duty, once again, to repeat that "We Are Hiring" ::waggles eyebrows::
Our great mapper just got carpel tunnel syndrome, and is drinking away the pain, Russian style. Check out his work here:
DE_Massawa (http://www.filecloud.com/files/file.php?user_file_id=18526)
it's a CS:S map, he just released. This guy's always coming up to the brush limit in Hammer, so you can understand where he gets the repetitive stress injury.
Oh, by the way, de_massawa is in no way related to the District Mod. It's just sweet.
