View Full Version : Maya Books
Mr. Jones 10-02-2002, 05:01 AM Hello out there
I'm pretty much new to maya, I've have had experience with 3D Studio Max but now I'm making the switch over to Maya. I've recently got the Maya PLE on my computer and I was wondering if there were any must have Maya books that I should read.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think I read in another post that the Maya X Savvy is a follow up to mastering maya 3, which is suppose to be a good book too, but I'm not sure?
As far as tutorials I know that the Gnomon Workshop website has some free tutorials on Maya, but if you want to look at the others you have to become a member and pay a certain fee.
If you find anymore info it would be greatly appreciated!
