Not for graphic Cards it's not. I bougth my Geforce 4600 Ti in 2003 for 1000 ringgit Malaysia. 2 years later today, I can buy a graphic card for far less with more power.

Thats why its never worth it to think about that sort of thing, you will just make yourself go insane. Always thinking there will be something better just around the corner. If you keep thinking that you will never buy something new :D
