Hi!
My current project relates this toont moose model. I'm ment to animate it and make a short clip. I'll post some picture from the model (a more complete [wip] project can be foud here (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=229214). Be CRTITIC i need it...).

I have Ornatrix fur plug-in since i think the model would look good in fur! I'm trying to learn more about this tecnique but, while I can manage to have some result on a sphere mesh, it's hard for me to apply fur on this more complex model...
The problem is that in order to work out, ornatrix requires a good UV mapping..I can't simply apply a box map on the moose! The problem is that i'm total newbie in UV unwrapping and, as I try to do so, I end up in a mess!!!
Could someone explain me the best way to achieve a good seamless map so that I can apply fur on the moose?
Secondly..do you think fur is the best choice for this toony character? If not what else woud do the trick?
Thirdly..in case u check my WIP thread, please share your opinion on the topology or anything else u find usefull.
