Hey,
Im writting a script that will render out everything in the AE render queue, make a webpage that contains links to all the rendered files and upload the files to a ftp (really handy for clients).
Im pretty familiar with C++, i can't find any documentaiton for AE's string functions. When i read the file output i get the full file location eg "c:\files\movie.mov", but all i want is "movie.mov". Any ideas how i would get that? If someone could even tell me what some of the basic character and string functions of AE i could probably do it myself.
