The Microsoft Games Studios Xbox Art Manager will be responsible for asset creation and distribution management to support our Promotions, Advertising and PR of major world-wide game launches.
Candidates must be trained artists who are proficient at high end desk top editing, 3D modeling with programs like 3D Studio Max and creating and touching up artwork with Photoshop.
Candidates also should have a basic understanding of video editing programs like Premiere for short promotional trailers and PR pieces and be comfortable working with game cameras for screen and video captures.
This position will require extensive interaction both with Product Marketing in Redmond, our world-wide Marketing teams in Japan, Europe, Asia and Australia and day-to-day interaction with our blockbuster title Art and Production teams.
Three or more years experience either as an Art Manager or Creative Manager is required.
Games industry experience working either on game-related projects (for an Agency) or on a Game Production team is highly preferred.
All candidates must be gamers or have worked in the Games industry for an extended period. BA or better in an art-related field is highly preferred.
