Ive been trying all day to get some particles to follow a path and its kiiling me! Ive searched the forums over and over for help but something must be messed up.

I have max 7. Ive setup a path using the path follow space warp and linked it to my particle system.

Whats the best object to use as a path? Ive tried lines, splines, nurbs curve... and for particles i tried pfsource, super spray, parray, etc.. Ive matched the start and stop times and nothing is working.

In some cases my particles just kinda hover over the first part of my path and in some cases they wont follow it at all. There are following something but its deffinetly not my line. I think my computer is possesed :D

Anyone have any tips?

ok i think i may have gotten it but ther arent following the path as tightly as I want them too... is there a way to make them hold a path closer to the "path"

What kind of line/spline is it? I know that bezier splines may cause problems cause the handle lengths adjust the speed at which objects/particles travel across them when you pathfollow's. Also if you want to use pflow you have to use a 'Speed By Icon' Operator and have it follow the path. Then the pflow particles will follow the Icon.

Make sure you have under Particle Motion 'along offset splines' (NOT the default). I got a superspray to follow DAMN tight to the spline with this checked!
