hi guys,

I'm almost totally new to character animation with 3DS MAX (I'm a modeler, not animator), and I need to know the right way to do facial expressions on a MOVING character. I mean, if I have a character that walk, run or jump (or anything else) in a scene, and I want to animate it's facial expressions...what's the right way to do it? I guess it's up to the Morpher modifier, right? But how can I make it act ONLY on the face of the character? (it's a unique mesh, not divided into face, body, etc.).

any help??

tnx,

AXE

Hi there,
You will have to make the morph on all the figure if you are not planning to make the head a diffrent mesh.
Just morph the parts of the face u need too.( I put an edit mesh on the same mesh copy so i dont have to copy the body 50 times)
The morph will only act on the face(the parts u changed)
