is it possible to export animations from xsi to 3ds max? dot-xsi-or-what?

i was asking the same thing some weeks ago. the only thing i discovered is that you can use deep exploration (www.righthemisphere.com) for the conversion. I haven't found any better way to do it. if you find a lug-in or something else let me know :)

The only thing I've found that looks promising is .fbx file conversion at www.kaydara.com... Doesn't support animations but you could bring models etc across to/from ANY major 3D program...and the plugins are free! I haven't installed them yet(sounded confusing) but I'm looking forward to hopefully swapping a bit of stuff around myself...
