View Full Version : Windows 2000 folders..

Hi. I'm on windows 2000 sp4 + internet explorer 6.0.2800.1106CO all fresh installation..

All is fine but custom folder display not behave as espected: want to remeber the setting.. always show big icons.. but i want to show forever as details.. I know how to change this setting, click out the window (my computer) then any time i open up MyComputer i see small icons... AAAArrrgghh!

any help to fix this?

In XP you can do it this way: Open up some folder, set your desired display mode, go to Tools > Folder Options..., switch to View tab and click "Apply to all folders"

Might be a little different in 2000 though... see if you can find a similar option.
