How can I make anisotropic fog in mental ray?

ofcourse you can... that image is in the mray docs :D
assign parti_volume & parti_volume_photon shaders to the outer box, then set the nonuniform attribute to a higher value ( eg .75 ), enable caustics and hit render.
PS. in max i think you have to put a photon shader to any material group in the scene, else you will get 'no photons stored after emitting 10000000 photons blablabla' warning.
It works only when the scene is very little(after a big scale down) because I can't scale the nonuniform noise.How can I scale it?(I wouldn't like to rescale my scenes)
