CGTalk - unreal 3D icon

Hi All
Have a look there icons, it is a 2D icon but look like 3D. Does 3ds max render the exactly same style? I want to make it animate, only 3ds can help.

1. such icon is made in illustrutor/ CorelDraw, if you really want it animated. i suggest you made it by flash....

2. if you still want it by max, suggest use "toon" as materials. and add a high specular color / car print.
Tools like illustrate, fianltoon, finalrender, Brazil support the toon effect.
