View Full Version : Autocad DWG format in to a game
SRobbins 04-11-2005, 08:00 PM I have a lot of models in DWG format and want to get them into a game environment. Anyone know how to do this and what game should be used?

Apologies if I send you on a wild goose chase. I used to work in GIS and we used DWG files etc. and I believe you should be able to impot them directly into a 3D package and give them a z (height) value. the tricky part is how you save the dwg file. I remember spending ages trying and it's been so long I've forgotten. \I guess it's just a case of trying it out. you could also try saving as an alternative Dxf file. or using something like Autocad....
