I actually just started this for no particular reason at all. Well at least I didn't have todays topic in mind, finished it and it seemed quite adequate for this topic. I guess I'm the electric pink monster in there. Iam guessing about 1,5 to 2 hours. Playing with my new brushes!:)

sagi_13 - you have done some wonderful drawings on this forum!!! - Hey how about contributing to this thread! - I would love to see your contribution (and I mean it with all sincerity :) ).
I think its all about "ownership" - I hope you would not refuse to post a drawing, because some of the other posts offend you. The most powerful response you can make to work you feel offended by, is to post your vision/interpetation of the topic!!!
with all respect,
Gord

Painter, about 2 hrs.
Heh, glad to see I wasn't the only one to go with the macabre. I could have tried a glowingly idealised self-portrait, but I thought that'd be boring :)

I fiddled with this on and off, lost track of time, probably well over an hour. It grew several layers thick as I worked at the reflection part and experimented with/without hair strands.

I'm not happy with the color version, so I am putting the pencil sketch up as well.
The pencil took about an hour give or take. (Did this during those brief moments that I was allowed.)
http://jebas.no-ip.info/%7Ejeff/art/clownsketch.jpeg
Then because I could not leave well enough alone, I decided to color it. That took another hour in gimp.
http://jebas.no-ip.info/%7Ejeff/art/clowncolor.jpegso For those that don't know me, my wife takes herself a little to seriously at times, so I am constantly messing with her world. I'm just trying to get my favorite playmate to come out and play. That's all.
By the way, I love the monkey.

gordonm- thank you that was very nice of you to say :) I like your sketches too.
The reason I am not posting and havent posted the last few weeks is that I am incredibly busy, I overloaded this semester and I am desperatly trying to finish everything before the semester ends. So that is why I cant really post until a month from now ... I still stop to look at you guys cause it is sooo coool, and dont worry eyes in a platter dont offend me... few things ever do :)
