Hi Yura: yours is an excellent job, the line work is very detailed, but kinda hard to read as well. I'm sure that when it's painted this will solve. Check some contours coincidences, like the hat of the wizard and the circular window, the elbows of the child and some details on the background, the sleeve of the wizard's left hand, etc.

Good luck

nice job! great attention to detail! I think though that the detail in th back ground weighs heavy on you subject and over all will cause the picture to flatten out when you color it. I would spend all large amount of time on you characters and not neccasarily aviod color detail in the back ground but make the colors in the back ground as monocromatic as possible this will bring the very to the more interest things which is of course your subject. Beautiful inks!!! havent seen any others like yours yet.

great work man!
love the expression on the little guy! rendering and color all looks like heading the right direction.
i cant help but to notice that the way you had the hand of a little guy in intital sketch was much better than how its being rendered now. maybe u will add something to him so his doing something with it, but the way it is now, his posture is rather.. uncomfortable.
anyways, great theme and style in development! keep rockin

Cool style. Love the expression on the boy's face :)

Maybe a bit more contrast is needed?

This looks really nice, Yura. It clearly fits the theme so well! And the charicaturizations are great! I really admire the wealth of detail in the background... But have to confess that it makes the depth of the piece hard to read. TheMagnetic was quite prophetic when he guessed that it would flatten out the piece. Sorry to say, but it has. When you're done with everything else, you might want to consider ways to make the characters pop out more against the background... Stronger shifts in value or hue couls help a lot, if you want to try them.

Also, the bright green you have in the potion bottle behind the feather and coming out of the pot on the right are much more saturated and bright than a lot of the rest of the piece: My eye continually gets drawn to those two relatively unimportant points.

Nonetheless, it's a really neat illustration. Good luck with your finishes!
