Introducing the Gradient Creator for the PC. This is a stand alone program
capable of creating gradients for Lightwave, Paintshop and Photoshop. The
program provides a variety of controls over gradients and allows gradients to
be captured directly from any image. In addtion, gradients can be imported
from GIMP, Lightwave, POV, CPT and Paintshop sources. The current price
is only $14-99. More details and a working demo can be seen at:

I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone, but what use is this exactly? (not trying to be sarky, just wondering - it seems most programs have their own native gradient tools)

Primarily the tool can be used to create gradients directly from images. It is a simple matter to load the image and drag a line across it to sample the gradient. These can be manipulated and resampled in a number of different ways. Gradients can be imported from Paintshop, GIMP, POV-Ray, CPT and Lightwave. Once complete the resultant gradient can be loaded in Paintshop, Photoshop, Lightwave or Darktree and used like any other gradient. In fact the package come with over 1700 sample gradients! For more information see the following:

http://www.shaders.org/gradient/sshots.htm

You can even create a number of different textures using the gradients.

Just tried here and it seemed to be working fine. Anyone else have problems? BTW what browser are you using?
