i have looked, and i cant really find a specific tutorial on HOW to do it. i always find stuff on how accurate it is and what not, i just want to know, how to do it. where to place the image and some settings.

Have you checked out Paul Debevec's web site?

He has lots of papers and course notes from siggraph, etc... on this topic.
