Hi Xav! Love the look of your concept and the idea of a hunter playing bodyguard is a good twist on the master/servant theme. I adore the hunter's face, he looks very rugged and no-nonsense and being a girl, I have to squeal in delight at the cuteness of that beast's face, he looks like something of a cross between an otter and a bear! I'd love to see how this comes along, any thoughts for a background so far?

I finally got a decent layout for the illustration, so here are the wip pencils (picture was too alrge for the scanner so I had to collage it together) By tonight I should have the pencils done, then hopefully Ill be right on track

Allright, these pencils are finished and now. yeah I know, TIGHT DEADLINE. But worry not, Ill do my best and hopefully the result will be pleasing :)

Yep, last minute rush seems like its gonna be the way to go. Im working as fast as I can and this is what I had a whiile ago when I was deciding upon colors, just to play with values and whatnot.

Well, about to send in the TIFF OF DOOM.

Quick Overview:

As a cocnept I wanted to explain the idea of a Hunter that has become a servant to protect the beast that he was previously hunting. This gorilla esque creature escaped from the lab that she was being held in order to put her newborn baby into safe territory.
Our hunter, upon finding its bounty and realizing the beasts gentle nature, decides to protect the gorilla and its baby until they have reached their destination.

Drawn in pencil and colored in Adobe Photoshop. Estimated time about 15 hours of work
