welcome to cgtalk and 3d modeling!
You are taking on one of the more difficult cars to model IMO (also my favorite) the Viper.
Just thought I'd clear up a little bit regarding the Viper designations. Your blueprint (only one I've seen online thus far) is of a 1992-1996 Viper RT-10, the SRT badge came with the redesign (which your reference pic is of). The RT and SRT models are significantly different
As far as your model goes, the hood doesn't have such a pronounced bump down the length of it, it is very subtle and very smooth, the blueprints barely show it.
I strongly suggest reading LionTR's excellent Box Modeling a Car Tutorial (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=156460). As far as I can tell, you're on the right track for modeling a car with your blueprint setup.
Showing an unsmoothed wireframe view will help us determine why your mesh is doing what it's doing.
other info such as software and modeling technique will help us help you as well.
Looking forward to more!

welcome to cgtalk!
the tutorial Wintermute mentioned really is good. a little tip: try several ways to model and see wich one works the best for you, and gives you the best results. Then start improving.
Like there is said already your blueprint setup looks good. make sure to keep aligning to all the blueprints to get the right shape. And try to avoid triangles, (not sure if you have them, I just mention it).
Keep practicing and you will get there:)

So what Viper do you make RT 10 or SRT-10 ? From what I can see it's a lil mix of both , haha.
Well ... first time huh , maybe another car would be easier for the first time

Heya,
I'm also new to this forum and I'm working slowly (1st car too) on the same viper ( with the same blueprints :) ) since a month now: I think I've got the general shape sorted, I will soon work on the details.
About your problem ( the critical part was those damn $^&שי' doors for me hehe ) , I think you should try to model the whole car in one mesh with as few polygons as you can and once it looks good, cut the holes for the wheels, lights, etc. ( I will try to upload some pix to show what I mean ).
Anyway I will closely look at your work since we're doin the same thing with kinda the same experience :)
