CGTalk - playblast problem

A bit of a strange one here.
When trying to do a playblast, I seem to only get one good one out, then every time I try after that, it gets up to about frame 14 and stops. Anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?

well, I've had the problem alot when running XP. If you are running XP, sometimes it helps to switch to classic windows mode. That usually fixes it for me. It still happens sometimes...anyway... but switching to classic cuts it down alot. Hope that helps

Are you using Windows Media Player or FCheck for Playblasts?

both. Fcheck at the moment though. It is working properly right now, but earlier both Fcheck and movie options were not working. tis a bit baffling, cos it just started working again after about 10 tries using fcheck. I havnt braved trying to go back to movieplayer.
