View Full Version : HDRI grainy render
Bobson 04-10-2005, 04:58 PM Hey,
How do I remove the grainy look from this HDRI rendered image. I used method Skydome and quality Best.
Also does anyone know why when I use Full, Best, Cache and Photons it crashes Blender.
Thanks for any help.

Bobson,
the crash in yafray Full mode maybe is caused by the light you have in the scene, Lamps usually crashs yafray because the lack of photons.
If you are gonna use a HDRI as background you can remove the light in the scene, 'cause HDRI has light itself.

Thanks, I guess it was the light causing the crash.
And I think the grainy look comes from using Auto AA, if I disable that and set the AA passes and samples my self it seems to help.
Sorry for asking so many questions in one post, but is there anyway to fix the hdri image cause if you look at the screenshot attached the background image is all a mess?
