ooo! my first post
i here somethin a poppin!
this is a model ive been workin on based on an illustrated novel ive got in the pipeline, (a very long pipeline)
I call him a 'Minae Warrior'.
He's just under 1500 tris and has 2 x 512 textures on him (although i could dramatically reduce those)
He's a game model, which i might continue to make a small demo
for if i find the time.

Any useful comments or critiques would greatly appreciated.

Nice work rascal. What 3d software package did you use?

Cool pose, he looks pretty tough. I'd like to see some more of this graphic novel you're working on.

I used maya, deep paint 3d and photoshop.
should probably mention the shadow and outline are photoshopt.
more renders to come.

hey man...that looks sweet. I'm thinking that his suit is a little plain right now. Now this may be the way you intend him to be, but i think it needs just a bit more detail in the textures. Otherwise, that's a really cool style you have there.

yeah it is quite simple i guess
thats some sort of suit he has on this new render should show
it a bit better.

he looks straight out of one of those fighting games.

Good job on making a game model.
