Hello this is my first post and my first time doin something with photoshop... shes a character im working on making 3d :) tell me what you think

More details on the "armor" and the hair would be good.

hehehe, I love the bright white on the armor, gives it just that futuristic look it needs. The only thing is.. the head.., is there somthin' wrong with the perspective or has he/she (??) just got a weird hair-style?? :D

Yeah! I like the armor too, but the head is really ruining it for me. I don't think it's just a perspective problem on the face though. It looks to me like the head is too far removed from the body. Try the pose yourself and you'll find your chin hides behind your shoulder.

Also, the pose suggests movement (which I like), but the hair is rather static. Put some swish in that coif and it'll really improve the movement already existant in the pose.

Of course, if you're going to go 3D with this ... it doesn't matter that much. Model, rig, pose and render and you'll have the image that you're trying to do here. :D
