WOW! amazing job! I see a couple flaws with the 3d model, but I think it matters little. The idea is amazing, and the pose is great. She looks underwater, is that how it is suppose to be? The painted wings are the icing on the cake. Great job, kinda disturbing :)
keep it up!

Nice stuff!

Good things:
Nice hair - its odd to see hair in this formation, and youve got it right.
The idea with the painted wings is good, and its very real-looking.
Her skin tones make her look cold and a little dead - i presume thats intentional?
Its kinda disturbing really - what with that hand over her nether regions and all.
The balance of light works well - greys and cold blues at the top, reds and purples at the bottom.

Bad things:
the tentacles look almost comic like in comparison with the rest of the image. They seem a little tacked on too and out of place. Perhaps make them thinner and more tendril-like, rather than b-movie squid monster style!
Her face looks a bit masculine - especially around the mouth and chin.
Its not clear what the 2 light sources are - are they lightbulbs or candles or what?
Her breasts seem a little odd - like theyre not affected by gravity. Really small nips too.

I thought id go into super-serious crit mode for your piece as i think conceptually, its a really nice idea and, despite a few flaws, is executed very well

i agree on all the above, so make the changes and maybe get rid of the hand (put a piece of cloth or something)

take care

nice idea and composition, BUT: the face is a face of one man... nothing female, or???

I agree with some of the flaws the others mentioned. I would keep the hand though. Conceptually i think it is very cool.

Yes, that question came to my mind the first time I looked at it. Is that on purpose?
