Hello goldensparrow

What you have to do is pull down the info window and set the PATH to point to python inside blender. If you don't understand the GUI I have video tutorials on my site to help you in getting everything installed and setup. You can find them at PCTech Help (http://www.pctech-help.com).

Maybe you installed the Python 2.4.
Blender (2.36) uses python 2.3.4 or 2.3.5, that's why you still getting these "warnings".

That wouldn't be the problem because I have version 2.4 installed on my machine and it works fine and knows where python is. I don't get the error on my computer which can be seen in my video tutorial. I think he just needs to put python in his PATH setting both in Windows and in Blender.

Doesn't python require v2.3. I got the same message when I only had 2.4 installed, as soon as I installed 2.3 it was gone. When I removed 2.3 because it was causing problems with Komodo I started getting the message again.

Blender uses python23 internally. It will only go outside of the internal package if it needs something that isn't in the provided package. That is why it says some scripts might not work properly.

As can be seen in my videos I have no problem with having python24 installed and working with Blender. But I have been programming and working with computers for 20 years so I just have a way of making things work. People have problems with alot of programs when installing them and the problems could be a number of things. Each computer setup is different so each install will be different on each computer.
