Hey Orville, this looks really good. You got your values working pretty well now. I like the relief sculpture on the back wall there. Keep up the good work and I look foreward to seeing the final.

Ok guys, final at last.

Background:

When a boy born by a knight turns 6 or 7, he was sent to a nearby castle where he is trained by the lord of the castle to become a knight. The 1st phase is he beeing a page, serving the lord by helping him put on his armor & other stuff. When the page showed promise, then at the age of 14, he became a squire, becoming a knight's personal servant. The squire brings replacement weapons, horses or any item lost in battle. When he is almost knighted, he wore the white tunic, symbolizing peace. But during battle, the squire's acquired skill thru his master/mentor could mean life & death to his master, specially if the knight is wounded. Then will he prove that he is not just servant to his master, but also a brother of the sword.

And for all of you guys, thanks for all your patience & support. We are all brothers(& sis) of the pen! :) Good luck to us all!!!

Absolutly Brilliant! A real classic. The only thing I personly would change is the profile on the white guys face, I think you can improve on it just a little to make this perfect but thats being super picky so ignore me

The textures and lighting are fantastic! The metal of the armor/shields really comes to life and the foreboding nature of the surroundings paints a scene far beyond the boundaries of this picture.

As eBay buyer feedback would say: "A+++++++++++++++++++" ;)

Thank you all guys, its been a pleasure to be a part of this competition. Though its my 1st entry into a full CG painting, yet you accepted me as one of your own. My training is in architecture, but my passion is drawing & painting, & dropping by one time & seeing all your stuff encourages me to pursue what I love the most.

Cheers to the winners & more power to those who are not. God bless to you all, my brothers of the pen!:applause:

Absolutely magnificent. I love the looming presence you've given the big fella. The positions of all of your characters are both natural and powerful. The lighting is superb, and the composition is flawless. It all makes for a breathtaking piece that I hope wins you a top prize. If it doesn't then at least you can rest assured that it's top dollar stuff. Congratulations on a remarkably well-done entry.
