I have tried putting a light source behind and applied lensflare, but always lens flare shows in front of object. Like a glow behind a object. never works.
Is there any way it can be done simple ? just like in LIGHTWAVE can it be done in MAYA ? Any special Techniques ?:buttrock:

Maybe you have to adjust size of pointlightshape. When you select light with flare you will see sphere arounf it, the size of this sphere affects if Maya renders flare behind object of cetration size. Check Manual.
