wow.. very nice concept there..

on thing is the bg gradient.. have you tryed having it go the other way.. eg.. darker in the depths - i an see how this might stuff up the compostion though..Also the creatures need a few more polygons :)

cool fishes, I think the water needs a bit of tweaking maybe some more volumetric lighting to make the water "thicker" and some floaty bits ie plankton and stuff watch some finding nemo dvd it should give some ideas, your fishes would eat Nemo probably hehe.

I agree the water needs a little work, but overall I love the image! The mood and colors are just amazing. The composition is great, and the design is superb. Seriously, good job!

I really like the composition of this. The kelp-like forms really draw the eye around the image nicely. The bubbles coming off of the top creature's head look strange though. They seem to be in front of the 'kelp' while the creaure is moving behind it.
