View Full Version : Setting frame guides
kabukiman 04-06-2005, 04:21 PM I'm a cinema4d beginner and i've seen tutorials where the display has frame guides. How can i set these in cinema? For example, setting a guide to a4 proportions so i can properly set the view i want to render?
cheers

You need to configure the viewport. Choose from the viewport's edit menu, choose configure & tick render safe. Lines will display what is the render area. (if you have R9 you can just press (shift + v) & the settings appear in the attribute manager).
The render safe area will respond to your render settings (Ctrl + B) - so if you change from a PAL to NTSC they will move a bit.
Hope this helps.
