I started modeling my new headphones because I was bored one day, but I just kept at it for whatever reason.

I think there is still work to be done, some textureing and whatnot. I'm not that happy with the ear pads.

ear pads could be tweaked like you said... but overall looks really good in my opinion. Some really nice camera angles which make for interesting compositions.

How do you like those things by the way?

Thanks for your reply.

I believe the head strap is a little flat too, needs work.

I love these headphones, they sound great and are very comfortable on your head. they are light too. http://gradolabs.com/frameset_main.htm

Yeah, they are very good for the money. My Sony's where the same price and fell apart in less then a year. These just feel like they won't, good construction and materials.

i had a pair of those a while back, but i dropped them too many times. sound pretty good though.

For your image, I think the plug looks a little too small. Dont forget the 1/4" adapter...

looks pretty good :) I like you materials

If you're going to render hi res close ups like this, you should redo some of those parts and eliminate the segmentation, it really takes away from your work.

The letterings look a bit more silver-painted and embossed in real life I think.

Also there is a ring missing around the "SR60"

Otherwise quite accurate.

Actually the SR60 while being the low end of Grado is about the limit for what you can get an MP3 player to produce in sound delight. There are better ones, even the next model up in Grado - but generally they then need an amp to give their best.

Cheers,
Rune
