Hi, I´m a brand new user, which is only learning how to make my digital paintings.
So I thought about a pretty girl, on her make up time, in her bathroom, where the mirror reflects her really appearence inside. The lipstick is changed by a gun, to criticize all the media beauty pattern.
The relation Master and Servant can be seen as the old woman points the gun against the young one, like threatening, obliging the young one to follow all the beauty steps (where u can add high consume, posture, use specific clothes, cosmetics...).
Where u can see a black box (fashion magazine).. I´ll create a fashion magazine (maybe with some intelligent question "15369 ways to make him go crazy in bed."
I think it still needs lots of lipstick, rouge etc.. all messed up on the forniture.
I´d like u to comment it, cause i don´t really know if I´m in a wrong creative way.
PS: Sorry about english mitakes.
Tks

hi guga..looks good so far...i like the concept..i think(and it totally my opinion) that a single mirror would be better....coz she is looking at one mirror and reflections on the other one...
all the best and welcome

I´m glad u like it!The problem is: i cannot make it have a smooth transition between greys.
I could not imagine it in colours! I´ll take a breake now and make a little research in the net. (or cry.. maybe).

I dunno man. the old evil lady in the mirror may be a bit chiche' (sp?) Why not give her the same face, just a bit of a wicked smile on her holding the gun.

What "chiche" and (sp?) means?

It's been done alot, so much so that it is kinda expected in a way.
Don't get me wrong, it works. I am just throwing out suggestions.

Hi :] I really like the concept you have going, here. I hope you're open for a bit of critique, because I have a few suggestions.
The first one is really simple - try to work with a less blotchy brush when you shade. Do you have a wacom tablet? If so, make a custom brush out of this: http://www.furiae.com/images/featherbrush.jpg set the pressure to opacity and the spacing to 0 - and then brush over the blotches with light, smooth strokes. That should just about do it :]
Secondly, the pose with the gun looks a little awkward. Holding it pressed up to her face like that just doesn't feel natural - it looks a little too much like she's 'posing'. How about lifting the elbow a little and tilting the arm back. It'll hide a little bit of the gun if you do that, but to compensate, you can let a trail of smoke weave from the muzzle.
It's nice work so far, I hope to see the updates :]

first... tks for all c&c.
As Enalya said, I don´t have a Wacom tablet (it´s a Genius... lower quality)... Ill try to make the brand new brush.
And Ephesus,... I never get comments in wrong way.. I just don´t know what "chiche" means... cause as u can see I´m brazilian.
Tks to all of u... I´m learning a lot!
Minduinho: Ce num tá participando, rapá? Aren´t u in the contest, man?

Personnaly I think you should make only one mirror, and move the old woman a bit to the right. Because the mirror in the middle is useless and use a big part of the picture for nothing.
anyway good luck for your piece, I'm curious to see the mood that you'll choose :)

Here is a color study. The old woman will change as someone said above. On front wall, I´ll make something (a shelf, maybe). Comments are always welcome.
