Good one. I like the concept and his almost shell-like armor. You might push the distance from foreground to background some.
A great and fast way to establish value on toned paper (canson?) is break out the value grey markers and stain the paper working light to dark. Prismacolor on top, whoo hoooo! oh and another tip... try scraping some pastel chalk into powder with an exacto knife on a piece of scrap, use a cotton pad or TP and make a dry wash of pastel dust on the paper. erase in areas, makes nice subtle color shifts.
Have fun, I love toned paper.

Nice work with the shadows there, but wouldnt it be much better-looking if you just had the armor at the shoulders and not down to the stumack?
(soz for the dumb-ass explenation, i'm not that good at english ;) )

Thanks for replying guys
Sleepless: thanks for the tips. I can't wait to try them out. THanks again
Burkmat: about the armor going to the stomach. It is a full body armor suit. Thanks for the suggestion though
phoenix: THanks for the compliment. I don't think that I will do it in 3-d since I have no skill in 3-d programs. Sorry

Man, that's a cool picture. Good job! If you want to show that it's full body armor, you could add a few hints of reflective metal further down in the shadows of the cloak, but whatever. It's good to keep it simple too, and the pure black shadow adds to the atmosphere of the picture.

Thanks agent D. Didn't really think about adding some hints of the armor in the shadows. Glad you still like it the way it is though
Thanks again

I love your style of drawing. The character is awesome and so is the atmosphere, but, like Sleepless already said, you might want to add some more perspective to it, or maybe even darken and un-color the background out a bit, so you get a nice and stunning character in a scary environment :)

Darkening the background. Damn I wish I would have thought of that. It makes so much sense to do that. I would really pop the character out more. Thanks for the advice. I will keep it in mind
