View Full Version : How to assign UV-Texture Color to the scattered points?

I have a simple SOP that looks like this:

sphere-> uvproject-> scatter.

Now exists there a possibility to query texture image color at scattered point?

I want to use these points with copy OP and apply their color to the Geometry.
Below is a more complex system, to that i need to adapt current technology.
To that separate 3D points i want to apply unique color derived from UV surface.

This system is something like a 3D raster renderer. 'So keep up the good work'

Any help?

To copy the colour from the points to the copied primitives, go to the Attribute parameters tab on the Copy SOP. Turn on Copy Template Point Attributes. Then move that star (*) symbol down one box (ie. Set ... To Prim).
