Howdy good people of 3D land.
I thought I would post this Marine im working on. No real idea behind him, just thought I would improve my poly modelling skills. He still needs some tweaking, manly around the face. I also need to cut down on the poly count in some places. I have gone for a very stylized look on this dude.

Hes kicking at 3794 tris or 1958 Polys

Any advice would be helpful. So here he is, fingers crossed that you like him..........

Cool! I really like the style you've gone for and your modeling is very nice.

You do seem to have a few very minor issues, but it looks good overall. As you said, the face could use a bit of work. It looks like you could remove some polygons on his face, especially above the nose and in the creases beside his mouth coming down from beside the nose. If you're going to texture him, I'd suggest you add stuff like that with a bump map so you don't waste polys on easily texturable (you heard that here first!) details. The same goes for the heel region of the boots; it seems you have some raised detail that could be easily bump, normal, or texture mapped (you know, something I know little about). It also looks like you could remove some detail to the top handle of the gun without losing the look of it.
