Hi there!
Just trying to figure out how to get a reflected, chrome type surface... Here's what I got so far...

The texture I loaded from LW 8.0 Contents, supposed to be chrome right?

Here's the object Rendered, not shiny at all!

Eddie, a couple of comments:

Reflections are either faked or ray traced. To fake reflections you use the inputs on the Environment tab of the Surface Editor where you can spherically map an image to the object. This is a fast way to imply reflections of lights or objects and is especially effective for situations where you wouldn't really be able to discern a clear mirror image reflection.

For you to see actual scene objects reflected on the surface of another object, you have to enable ray tracing in the Render Options dialog -- and then there have to be other objects in the scene for the rays to bounce off of. There is more to it than that of course -- you should read the manual section on rendering and reflections.

Thank you.... I read the manual but I guess I missed that part about enabling Ray tracing in Rendering options, plus on tutorials they don't mention any of what you just stated..
