I am looking for a tutorial explaining the GUI and basics on how to get around.
Video tutorials are highly preferred. If you know of any other very basic tutorials, that would be great. I've noticed ALOT of tutorials how to do specific stuff but I can't do that until I understand the little stuff. http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Also: Would you suggest me starting with 3Ds Max or is there something better? Seems like 3Ds Max is the Photoshop of the 3D world http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

No offense but if you have a ligit version of Max then I suggest checking out the tutorials that ship with it. The reason you don't see a lot of video tutorials on that kind of basic thing is due to the fact that you get the infomation with the software.

I have the trail version I d-loaded from their site.... Ummm. Does it have the stuff in the trail?
