Aleksander Gielnicki has entered the Master and Servant 2D.

Challenge Page (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/masterandservant/view_entries.php?challenger=7135)

Latest Update: Concept Sketch: A wee bit different servant concept

I've decided to make my master/servent relationship male/male. That's because I figured that the impression when master and servant are of opposite sex always implies they're lovers, irrespectively of their true connotation. Now, loyalty is what i seek to express, and methinks that two men will be much more suitable.

Hello everyone,
This is my first ever CG contest entry, I hope to learn a lot of useful things by participating. Basically, I'm an amateur "artist" who's just graduated from high school, and I'd be grateful for each and every comment on my submissions, especially on my mistakes (and I know there'll be lots of them ;). Hopefully, I'll draw and write more tommorow, when I get some decent night's sleep. Bye.

Welcome Aleksander!

If I can say one thing is just to keep sketching and progressing.... you will get the most comments and valued advice this way. I am relatively new to CGTalk myself, I entered the last challenge but didnt follow through which is something I really regret. I have been doing freelance illustration for roughly 12 years now and I sometimes wonder how much better I could have been by now if I wasnt so lazy:)

This place is definitely an eye opener as there is soooooooo much talent here. It really is inspirational and motivating.

Just remember to stay focused and if you dont get too many replies, dont get discouraged. Hit me up whenever you need a critique or opinion, Im here to help!

Thanks. I'm already bustling everywhere I can, though it's nearly 2AM here. And I've come with some new ideas for my entry. :)

Looking good so far. My only advice is to enjoy the conceptual side as much as you can. You'll get some real enjoyment that way. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Sometimes the journey can be more enjoyable than the final destination.

Hi Alexander, and welcome to challenge.

Nice concep you've going on there. Add more definition and at least color of gray shades for the beggining, but this look cool, also.
Good luck, have fun, and I'll se u around
