Pretty Good start there.
Good luck to you
04-05-2005, 11:46 PM
Wow. That face is stunning. Are you using a reference?
04-06-2005, 12:06 AM
the face is turned at a 3/4 angle, but the eyes are the same size and look like they are on the same plane. Like she is looking straight forward...
other than that awsome work! i like the light and pallete.
04-06-2005, 06:41 AM
i will def. keep my eye on this one..best of luck to u
i haven't seen you posting your idea though..what is the concept of the painting
04-08-2005, 12:14 PM
T.T my line art hic ... Im not sure if i can submit two works at last. But i will continue to do with both. I tell u about my idea in next time T.T ... I dont know but it's really freak +___+
04-08-2005, 12:28 PM
very nice work, it looks like it's telling a story.
04-12-2005, 08:20 PM
About my inspiration and my idea: I dont know if i was right, anyway it's my idea :D .
First i thought about many kinds of relation between master and servant. But i didnt choose anything. At last i changed direction of my mind to human being and i realized that inside of everyone had a relation between master and servant. The master is ourself, the servant is our soul, and conversely.
Soul can control ourself ( i mean that sometimes we cant stand against our desires and we must follow them ) But usually, we control our soul :D maybe !. So they are reciprocal ^^. Importantly, we can balance that relation ^__^.
About my work, it's telling about the fairy. She's balancing two poles of her soul, negative pole ( bad condition ) and positive pole ( good condition ) T.T Well that is my idea ! is it freaky ? :( But i really think so ...
04-12-2005, 08:22 PM
whoa excellent colouring!!!
04-12-2005, 08:36 PM
that┤s really beautifull!
04-12-2005, 08:40 PM

04-13-2005, 08:11 AM

04-13-2005, 12:53 PM
she's really beautiful~the overall color rendering is awesome!
04-13-2005, 05:38 PM
whoaaa!! great job! cant say anything as of now...
04-13-2005, 06:25 PM
I really do know this is just starting, so here are my ideas:
There has to be human in the piece...So, You can probably change the name of the fairy to a lady, or one of her souls... your shadows on the dress folds are light(are you gonna strengthn them, just a thought)
Believe me my work is not even close to yours(I just love your concept so much that I want it to be so clearly translated: thus the dress shadowing is a reflection of the souls...)
You can throw my opinion right out of the window, I'm just blabbing :D .
Gorgeous painting skills...
04-14-2005, 07:49 PM
That time i told u that this fairy was balancing two her poles : good and bad but maybe i was so far to say that ! She just controls the condition of her soul to be balanced and better like we do with our body Hum T.T it's hard to express my thinking and feeling ... I hope u can have your own things when u see my work and read the explanation about my inspiration ... :) !
im sorry if my English is bad ! :P
04-14-2005, 07:50 PM
she looks soo pretty, reminds of this gurl who i'm to afraid to talk to.
04-14-2005, 08:11 PM
Thank you guys !
cha0t1c1 : Yeah i know ! anyway thank for your advice !
NOOB ! : Thanks ! But why are u afraid of talking to her ? I think u should try to strike up conversation with her :D Perhaps she is a lovely shy girl :D
04-14-2005, 08:14 PM
i'm not really afraid...i'm just shy..like a gurl.
lol.my chat up line wud be sumthin like *hi my name is hpowhpeahdpasidhais,*

04-14-2005, 11:08 PM
This is a stunning piece of art. Best of luck in the competition!
04-14-2005, 11:28 PM
Wow, beautiful work. I like your line of thinking, it's very original and the way you've chosen to portray it is too. Your rendering skills are beyond belief, another linda bergkvist in the making! I love how you've softened and blurred certain parts to give it a pale, shimmery look. And I love her headress. This challenge is turning out so much high quality work, and this is some of the best!
04-14-2005, 11:33 PM
Looks like you had the fanboy warning allready! I'll just get started on that than.
Really beautiful female there, very serene and aware look in her eyes. Absolutely amazing!!! The only thing I fnid weird is that she's looking down instead of in the camera or slightly into the distance as if in trance. But that's a minor detail.
this image is slowly taking shpae... i was a bit more curious where you would of taken the 1st sketch ... personally i like it alot more then the new one but none the less good job.
keep the updates comming.
04-15-2005, 02:49 AM
