Yeh good idae. At the moment I think that the relationship between the master and servant is a bit unclear. The servant figure seems a bit too happy and his pose is a bit difficult to read. But I like the clarity of your drawing and it is nice to see such an unusual response.

Jack Youngblood: Thanks for your reply, i think so abot the unclarity, so i make other try.

Here other one direction but with the same objective, i want to make something retro, like 40's and the relationship doesn't matter by size, i want to make a little mob boss like Triplets of Belleville, what do you think?.

Jack Youngblood
04-04-2005, 11:00 PM
I think that you are right about the size. The biggest isn't always the most powerful. It looks like it is going in the right direction. The only thing that bothers me is the facial expressions (they look a bit the same and too happy), but its early days for that isn't it?

The Belville Triplets? BRILLIANT FILM! So weird it almost gave me brain damage.

I felt unconfortable with my sketch so i make other,in this i want to play with the perpective and ligths, so for this composition i make the boss more bigger than my last sketch, so what do you think for this one.

Jack Youngblood: well with this draw i don't have problem with the facial expression, thank for your advices

Starting for my last try, i make quick study of shadows, i'm still need to work on the perspective specally on the desk, look some weird in the rigth side of the illustration, i want to give to the "master" an intimidate look, so he have a illumination from bottom, and the other things an characters have a cenital ilumination, i'm still recieving suggestion for the concept.

Thanks for enter to watch.

what's up dude,

Cool sketches. I like your idea and the perspective choice and camera angle is great. Great way to show the expression and characteristic of the boss. I love the style btw.

Very nice sketch, yes the perspective isn`t quite working yet. You should change the desk and the small guy to more frogperspective as well, I guess.

Arc80: Thanks dude :)

jake rupert: I made some changes to the desk for a better view, i don't want to have a real lense perpective, but i want it seems "logical", thanks for your advice:thumbsup:

Today i was "illuminated". hope can i start again with this new idea?, today i remember a event in the bible when Jesus clean the feet of his apostoles, a He say that the master for been master must be the first in serve, and i want to work on this concept "the master-servant", i draw a quick sketch.
I feel very exciting of this new path.

Here the king, washing the foot of his slave, i want to give a bible atmosphere, i think the perpesctive could be interesting, but i leave out some king's details and palace shoots, also i was thinking a version with Faraon and a Nubian slave.
I want something very emotive, showing the slave crying of hapiness and the king cleaning the foot with love, humble but without shame for do that.

What do you think of this new path?

Here i make a study of the King's pose when he clean the foot of his slave, isn't the perspecrive what i want to choose i just want to visualize some part of the king structure.

Now i'm build a model in 3d for chose the best angle for the composition. In the models i have problem on riging but i just want use it for visualization.
I love the unusual angles likes number 1 and 2, i think they could give some dynamics to the final composition, the image #3 i think is good for the expression on the slave face (the siting one) and it let me see the master exprexion between the arm and chest (well i need to make some corrections), and the images #4 and #5 i was thinking use a "clear-ground" composition maybe something cool could make from this view like "What Lies Beneath" camera work (well just was a one take) and finally the image #6 the most clasical and normal of all, i think it was more for reference.

Thanks for your commentaries

I know i know! i'm late for finish my entry, i work this week before get busy again, sorry for the people to come to see my progress and found nothing.
This time like Jack says, i'm dizzy with wich perspective should i must to choose. here another one that maybe help me to clear my mind and could finish my draw.

sometimes y ask myself, why did i make other version?, why i just finish what i'm start?, thanks for see this entry and thanks for those help me to clear my mind!

I try to give more detail to the 3D perspective, tovisualize the space and how could i must draw the illustration, i think this perpective express the mood of the scene.

Well... more perpectives, i do some changes that a friend of mine suggest me.
Now what do you think people?

I think i'm between the number 2 and 4

FIDUCIOSE
05-03-2005, 10:17 AM
In my opinion the 4 is the best!!
that ant eye view can make me feel like the master in the pic is higher than me and if ya use the distort perspective it's will make more contrast bout relationship as well, ya can study the false per from a sketchboarding video, they always use lense wide for the per like that.
Good luck man!!

Well thanks for your time and come to see my work.

I can wait more your advices so i decide start with the suggestion of FIDUCIOSE , so here i define more the shape of both characters, and you can see a detail of the slave face, i want to make him cry of hapiness i wish to make something emotive with his face expression. i hope could give the exact feel of i wish to show.

I think the next week could be a very busy time, thanks for your criticize and for help me finish this on time.
